PGA TOUR Americas announces dates for six qualifying tournaments

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Florida – Registration for PGA TOUR Americas mid-season Q-School opened on Tuesday, March 18 at noon (EST) and will close on Friday, April 18 at 5 p.m. (EST). For more information about PGA TOUR Americas qualifying tournaments, visit this website.
The six qualifying tournaments are to be contested this spring after Segment I (Latin America Swing) and before the start of Segment II (North America Swing). Players who advance from these qualifying tournaments will earn PGA TOUR Americas eligibility for Segment II, which will begin in Fredericton, New Brunswick at the Explore NB Open (July 3-6).

Each qualifying tournament will be 72 holes of stroke play, with the low 25 qualifiers and any player tied for 25th place earning PGA TOUR Americas membership. Approximately 132 players will compete at each of the six sites.
- Finishers 10-25 and any player tied for 25th place from each site will receive conditional status for Segment II of the 2025 PGA TOUR Americas season. These players will be eligible for reshuffles, which will occur after the completion of the fourth and seventh events of Segment II.
- Finishers 1-9 from each site will be exempt for Segment II of the 2025 PGA TOUR Americas season and will not be subject to any reshuffles. In the event of a tie for the ninth position, there will be a hole-by-hole playoff immediately following play.
In 2024, four players earned membership from a mid-season qualifying tournament and went on to win and earn their Korn Ferry Tour cards for 2025. Ian Holt (Explore NB Open), Ryan Burnett (Bromont Open), Barend Botha (Commissionaires Ottawa Open, BioSteel Championship) and Will Cannon (Fortinet Cup Championship) won tournaments and earned their Korn Ferry Tour cards for 2025 after earning status through PGA TOUR Americas mid-season qualifying tournaments.
In addition to players advancing from these qualifying tournaments, Segment II membership will include players in the top 60 of the Fortinet Cup, tournament winners from Segment I and finishers 11-25 from the PGA TOUR University Class of 2025. Players 61-80 in the Fortinet Cup will have conditional status for Segment II.
